Inspired thoughts from an uninspired mind

Didn’t know what else to use for that title, so there you go!

Just a quick update about what’s going on, what’s new and what’s crappy. For the what’s going on, it’s now summer hockey season and the Grifters play our first game this saturday nite, 8:30pm at the minto skating center. All you fan’s come out and cheer on the boys! In other news, we have been trying to decide what to do with the fencing in our neighbourhood, whether to go with chain link, PVC, etc. Looks like the builder says we have to go with chain link, which isn’t the best for privary but nothing some hedges can’t fix.

In other news, got back our server from LA and will be moving in to Montreal very soon. I wasn’t very happy when I received the package, only to find alot of it damaged and requiring repair of some sort. Bent pins on the motherboard, snapped off drive mount legs, etc. Whatever I guess, it’s all stil working and I hope to have it installed possibly by next week. I’ll post some pics of the beast later for you viewing pleasure.

And one last thing, after years of hating social networking sites I gotta say FaceBook is a pretty cool site. It’s very slick, easy to navigate and best of all find people who you haven’t seen in years. They put alot of thought and effort on how to make groups and networks easy to find and easy to find friends you haven’t seen in a long time. Now when I head home this July, it’s going to be great meeting up with all the homies who I haven’t seen in years. Hopefully 9 days is enough to see everyone..

I’ve added some pictures to the photo gallery of the house, probably should of cleaned up a bit but oh well. Just finished the ethernet wiring in the basement and painted the floor last week, gotta love 18 GigE drops throughout the house!

Well then, it’s been a very long time since i’ve updated my website but here it is. I am pretty fond of the color scheme/theme, thanks to WordPress user milo who designed it and posted it on themes.wordpress.org for all to use. Hopefully I can keep this updated more then once every 6 months, but you never know.
